Testing at Public Health Centers

  • You can undergo tests and consultations, free of charge and anonymously.
  • If you desire to undergo tests, please confirm information such as the date, time and place of the test in person over the phone.
  • Upon request, you can undergo tests for other sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis and Chlamydia at the same time. Please inquire for more detailed information in person over the phone.
  • In the quick test, approximately one out of 100 people receives a false-positive result. In that case, the person is required to undergo two-step tests utilizing a screening test and a confirmation test. If the results of the screening test turn out to be indeterminate, a confirmation test is required. The results usually take one or two weeks.
